What hire options are available to me?
Answer: You can have short term or long term hire. Hire periods can be 1 to 3 day, weekly, monthly or long term.
Do you offer delivery on your hire machinery?
Answer: Yes we can deliver any of our hire machines to anywhere on the mainland UK. For areas outside the mainland UK, please check with our hire department on delivery.
What are your delivery charges for hire machinery?
Answer: Unfortunately we would need to assess the type of machine you are hiring and also your location within the UK. For instance a smaller hire machine that would fit on a trailer on the back of a car, would be cheaper that a larger piece of hire machinery that needs to be delivered on the back of a lorry.
What payment options do you offer on hire machinery?
Answer: You can pay by cash, cheque, bank transfer, CHAPS, credit or debit card or set up a regular standing order. Credit accounts are offered subject to status and acceptance.
Do you offer credit accounts for hire machinery?
Answer: Credit accounts can be offered subject to status and acceptance. Please contact us for more details.
Who is responsible for insuring the hire machinery?
Answer: Once you have taken delivery of the hire machine, you must fully insure the said machine and provide us with evidence of the insurance. Failure to insure adequately can mean removal of the machine from your premises.
Is the hire machinery covered against breakdown?
Answer: Yes we cover the hire machine for the full duration against any breakdowns and we have a fleet of fully equipped service vans that can cover the UK to get you sorted in the quickest possible time.
Any breakdown though that is caused through your neglect, can be chargeable to you.
What happens at the end of the hire period?
Answer: At the end of the hire period we expect the hire machine to be re-delivered back to us in the same working order and condition as it was on delivery (normal wear and tear accepted).
We can arrange re-delivery back to us (charges may apply) or you can arrange your own re-delivery back to us at your own expense.
The Hirer must also fill the fuel tank of the Equipment prior to re-delivery (if applicable) as failure to do so will result in fuel being charged at the current pump price when re-delivered and re-fueled. The hire machine must be returned in clean condition as failure to do so will result in a cleaning charge being levied.
